Vercors Natural Regional Park

Between the Isere Valley and the Diois, the Natural Regional Park of Vercors is 186 000 ha of protected nature. This area's attributes include real natural monuments carved in limestone by water: you'll see steep cliffs, needles, canyons and caves, tunnels and majestic coombs.

The High Plateus Reserve of Vercors is a protected wild environment, there are no road crossings or motorized traffic allowed. This area is a habitat for exceptional fauna and flora: almost 80 plant species and over 200 animal species have been identified in the Natural Regional Park of Vercors.

A great number of activities are available in the Vercors: climbing, caving, canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding or donkey rides ... Many sites are suitable for paragliding, from beginners to experienced flyers.

And as always, the Vercors remains an ideal place for nature tourism and the discovery of unseen fauna and flora.
